Changelog

What changed, and when.

Every version, including what is still missing. Newest first.

0.3.11

29 September 2026

Beta

A tidier in-game screen on a second monitor.

Fixed

  • When Flaro moves to your second screen at the start of a game, it now fills that screen and keeps its title bar in view. If you resize it during a game, it remembers that size for next time.
  • The in-game screen keeps its two-column layout in narrower windows. 322 automated tests pass.

0.3.10

Beta

Maintenance: no visible changes in this version.

Fixed

  • A fix for an experimental feature of the test builds. 322 automated tests pass.

0.3.9

28 September 2026

Beta

Your team's skins in champion select.

New

  • Champion select shows the skin each of your teammates picked behind their champion, the way the League client does, and it changes the moment they pick another skin. Enemies show their champion's default art.
  • 319 automated tests pass.

0.3.8

28 September 2026

Beta

Maintenance: no visible changes in this version.

Fixed

  • 315 automated tests pass.

0.3.7

28 September 2026

Beta

Flaro stays as you left it after an update.

Fixed

  • After an update Flaro comes back the way it was: on screen if it was on screen, on the same display and page, without taking the focus from a game. It no longer restarts hidden in the tray.
  • 310 automated tests pass.

0.3.6

28 September 2026

Beta

Maintenance: no visible changes in this version.

Fixed

  • An addition to an experimental feature of the test builds. 299 automated tests pass.

0.3.5

28 September 2026

Beta

Runes that import themselves when you lock in, if you want them to, and Flaro out of the way during your games.

New

  • Auto-import runes: turn it on under the Import button or in Settings, and Flaro puts its recommended page into the League client when you lock in, and again if your champion or role changes before the game. Only into Flaro's own page or a free slot, never over your pages; never in Korea; your summoner spells stay yours. Off unless you turn it on.
  • Two switches in Settings, off unless you turn them on: move Flaro to your second screen when a game starts, and bring it to the front with your review when the game ends.

Fixed

  • Your match history now loads in full when the League client serves it in smaller pages. 292 automated tests pass.

0.3.4

28 September 2026

Beta

Maintenance: no visible changes in this version.

Fixed

  • A fix for an experimental feature of the test builds. 264 automated tests pass.

0.3.3

28 September 2026

Beta

A small fix: no password form, and no promises about features that aren't ready.

Fixed

  • Flaro opens straight in, without an account: there is no email and password form any more. Your online Flaro account signs in with your browser, in Settings.
  • Settings no longer describes a Premium feature that isn't available yet. Flaro Premium: no ads, and more, coming soon.
  • 260 automated tests pass.

0.3.2

28 September 2026

Beta

More from your own games, keys of your choice, and your Flaro account.

In this version

  • Champion select: Riot's tips against your lane opponent and your record against them, 2 or 3 champions from your own pool for your role, the champions you lose to most while bans are open, both teams' damage mix and frontline, and your usual skill order. Options only: you pick and ban in the client.
  • The review: your game in 7-minute slices against your own wins, your backs against the cannon waves, and a map of where you died.
  • Home: "Your progress", an LP graph and a five-axis profile against your own targets, which you can now set per role in Settings.
  • In game: the next item of your plan, its cost and your gold. A fact only: no alert when you can afford it.
  • Tooltips on every item, rune and summoner spell, in English and Romanian. Keybinds: every shortcut can be changed, and keys League uses are flagged.
  • Your Flaro account (when flaro.gg opens): sign in with your browser, never a password in the app; your picture, support tickets with answers, and Premium later.
  • 256 automated tests pass.

0.3.1

28 September 2026

Beta

A new name, Flaro, and a security pass.

In this version

  • Faro is now Flaro. On the first start, your settings, account and recorded games are copied to %APPDATA%\Flaro. The old folder stays, without its copy of your sign-in.
  • Your sign-in is encrypted by Windows or kept in memory, never written as a plain file. Passwords get a stronger hash, and the accounts file is encrypted by Windows too.
  • A locked app. A changed copy of Flaro refuses to start, it can't be run under a debugger, and it has no developer tools.
  • Player search leaves the public version until Riot approves Flaro. It will come back through our own server, so nobody needs a Riot API key of their own; the public version doesn't take one.
  • On the website: Flaro accounts and support (sign in with an email code, Google, Discord or a passkey), and a new Terms of Service and Privacy Policy that cover them.
  • 179 automated tests pass.

0.3.0

28 September 2026

Beta

Your own picks in champion select, and a pass over the whole interface.

In this version

  • Your own picks. In champion select, a rune option built from your own games: the page you take most on that champion and role, with how many of those games you won. Your usual summoner spells and items lead the plan when your games show them.
  • You on your champion. Your games, win rate, KDA and CS per minute on the champion you locked in, and your last games on it.
  • In game: the runes and spells you actually took, read from the game, with a build for them, and your vision score charted next to your CS.
  • Reviews: a preview beside the list, and “What keeps coming back”, four patterns across your last ten games.
  • Home, champion select, the game, the review, Reviews, Builds, player search, the account screens and Settings, all refined: clearer numbers, calmer spacing, and the LP of your last ranked games at a glance.
  • Experimental options stay off by default, and nothing that Riot hasn't reviewed goes into a public build.
  • 150 automated tests pass.

0.2.1

28 September 2026

Beta

Player search, and the LP of every ranked game.

Player search with a key of your own was in the test builds only. In the public version it is arriving with Riot's approval, without a key of your own (see 0.3.1).

In this version

  • Player search. A search box first thing on Home, and a Players screen (Ctrl5, or CtrlF for the box): any player's public profile by Riot ID, on any region. Current Solo/Duo and Flex rank, most played champions this season, mastery, recent games, and the detail of each game. From Riot's official API with a key of your own, kept encrypted on your PC. No MMR and no name history; a private profile stays private and Flaro tries nothing else.
  • LP per game. Home's recent games show +21 LP in blue for a ranked win and −16 LP in red for a loss, as the League client reports it, and a dash when it isn't known. Never an estimate.
  • Settings: your Riot API key has its own card (save, check, remove). Everything new is in Romanian too.

Fixed

  • If Flaro started while the client was already on its post-game screen, the review waited on “Writing your review”. It now opens at once.
  • 125 automated tests pass.

Not yet

  • “Most played this season” counts the games loaded on the screen, not the whole season.
  • Player search needs a Riot API key of your own; a development key expires every 24 hours.

0.2.0

28 September 2026

Beta

A rebuilt Settings screen, the whole app in Romanian, and a keyboard for everything.

In this version

  • Settings, rebuilt: General, Keyboard, Account and League, Your data, Privacy and safety, and About. Start with Windows and start minimised, both off until you turn them on; your region; the graphics card off by default.
  • English and Română: the whole window in either language, tips and review takeaways included. Champion, item and rune names stay as the game has them.
  • Keyboard navigation on every screen: shortcuts for the screens, the arrow keys inside lists, grids and tabs, and a list of shortcuts on ? or F1.
  • Your data: open the data folder, and export your reviews as JSON or CSV to a file you pick.
  • Calmer in-between moments: static skeletons instead of spinners, empty states that say what to do, and your recorded games on Home when the client isn't connected.
  • Experimental options stay off by default, and nothing that Riot hasn't reviewed goes into a public build.

Fixed

  • “Open review” from the Reviews list opened the review out of sight.
  • A Practice Tool game said “DEFEAT”; it now says “PRACTICE”.
  • Headings drew the zero with a bar (“Your last 2θ games”).
  • 111 automated tests pass.

0.1.0

27 September 2026

Prototype

The first build of Flaro, end to end on its built-in mock League client and a sample game.

In this version

  • Home: your profile and rank, your last 20 games against targets, recent games, your champions, tips, and your focus for the next game.
  • Champion select: up to three rune options (Riot recommended, Pro pick, Default), summoner spells and a build path, and one-click rune import. Asks before replacing a page when all are in use. Off in the KR region.
  • In game: your own CS and vision per minute against targets, KDA, level and gold, a CS per minute chart and your plan, once a second. A small 420 × 860 window for a second screen.
  • After the game: the review opens by itself, with gold over time, CS per minute by stretch, damage, vision, the game in one line, a Scoreboard tab (champions only) and three rule-based takeaways.
  • Reviews, Builds and Settings, including Streamer mode and a plain list of what Flaro does and never does.
  • Accounts on your PC, or no account at all. The League connection is off until you switch it on.

Fixed after the safety audit, the same day

  • One click is one write: a held CtrlI or a double click could send several rune-page writes. Now it is exactly one, and never without a real click or key press.
  • A rune page you picked is only ever updated in place, never deleted, even if the client refuses the update.
  • Rune import is blocked unless the region is known and isn't KR.
  • The installer no longer ships an elevation helper Flaro never used. 80 automated tests pass.
